WEEK ONE

Well folks, week one has come and gone, and while we are all reveling in victory or licking our wounds after defeat, let's revisit the week one power rankings. As we wait for week two to start up on Thursday, let's check out how everyone did, and painstakingly review the injury reports (ugh).

1. Tebow's departure from the NFL may prove a blessing to TEBOW'S TINGLE, who scored a total of 148 points this week. Two of TEBOW'S TINGLE players scored over 30 points this week, helping this team cruz to victory. Coming in second place for best team name will probably be the last time Tebow's Tingle isn't at the top of the heap.

2. 50SHADESOFRAY(LEWIS)'s three top running backs combined for a total of 4 points and ended the week behind. However, the masterful combination of boudoir romance and a popular retired Raven Linebacker, won the honor of Best Team Name and the 50 points to give 50SHADES the 2nd highest point total of the week - a true rags-to-riches week.

3. There have been many memorable twerks in the news lately, but TEAM(youbetta)TWERK had a great week in fantasy football, coming in at third place in the league. The team's studs put in twerk with monster performances from Reggie Bush and Jared Cook. With steady performances across the board, TEAM(youbetta)TWERK's next week match up with TEBOW'S TINGLE will almost definitely determine the league leader.

4. THINK LIKE A MANNING had a surprisingly good week, despite having somewhat of a dearth of running backs. Demaryius Thomas (and many Broncos--more on that later) had a great week, bringing in over 30 points. TLAM's faith in Chip Kelly's speedy new look Eagles proved to be genius with their fancy play call system.

5. SUNDAY FUNDAY survived a shaky first half performance from RGIII and fellow Washington NFL Team RB Alfred Morris. A.J. Green's monster 32 point performance carried the team over James Jones' huge donut. SUN FUN was benefited not only by 10 points from trading, but from the fruits of that trade--Tony Gonzalez, a sweet tight end.

6. After Peyton Manning's historical 7 touchdowns in Thursday's opening game, DC KHALEESI was feeling like the mother of dragons indeed. Victorious feelings soon dissipated on Sunday though, as three of the starters scored a combined 3 points. DC KHALEESI squeaked out a victory thanks to the bonus 10 points from trading with Sunday Funday.

7. The hype surrounding CJ Spiller did not prove fruitful for CRANNOGMEN, who was unfortunately matched up against TEAM(youbetta)TWERK. Dez Bryant underperformed and potentially injured himself, so an eye will need to be kept on him. Other than those two, the CRANNOGMEN had a good first week, with the most points of any losing team.

8. TOUCHDOWN YEEZUS's prayers were not answered as Matthew Berry favorite Zach Sudfield was a dud...field. But, with two trades bringing in 20 bonus points, TD YEEZUS was neck and neck with Sunday Funday until the last quarter of the last game of the week, when Philip Rivers not only threw an interception but had it run back for a touchdown by Sunday Funday's defense. Ouch.

9. With so many strong players, you'd think that BUKKICKERS would have had a strong finish. However, wide receiver Calvin Johnson did not perform as well as expected, but better days are ahead as CJ's status as top WR in the league is not yet in doubt. BUKKICKERS won't have to think about changing the starting lineup as much as how to properly pronounce the team name.

10. DOUBLE ENT-ANDRES lived up their namesake with a big performance from the Andre Johnson. Despite losing this week's matchup due to bonus points, this team is on the up and up with Boldin and Cameron stashed on the bench. The only real question left is which player DOUBLE ENT-ANDRES will pick up to finish the Andre duo: Andre Brown or Andre Roberts.

11. LOVE ME HARBAUGHS suffered a heartbreaking loss. Despite valiantly fighting back from Peyton Manning's huge game with a high average score per player, LOVE ME HARBAUGHS's nightmare came true, losing due to DC KHALEESI's bonus points.

12. Last but not least was KRITTIKA'S TEAM. The team suffered from Tom Brady and Lamar Miller underperforming which definitely doesn't help when you're facing the league's high scoring team TEBOW'S TINGLE. With some waiver pickups and trades, KRITTIKA'S TEAM should fare better with potential top RB LeSean McCoy thriving in Philly's new run-happy system.

Don't forget to set your lineups for week two, and come to Apartment 1213 Sunday evening at 7 to play Ticket To Ride. Three winners will get 30 bonus points for week two!
